What this does
When Sentry detects an error that affects your customers, cStar can automatically:
- Create a support ticket from the Sentry issue
- Match the error to the customers who hit it (via user email tags)
- Show the linked Sentry issue on the ticket sidebar
- Notify affected customers when the issue is resolved
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Team → Integrations → Sentry
- Create an auth token at sentry.io/settings/account/api/auth-tokens with these read scopes: Project, Issue & Event, Organization
- Paste the token and click Connect
- Once connected, you'll see your projects and recent unresolved issues right in cStar
Optional settings
- Auto-create tickets — turn on if you want a ticket created every time Sentry detects a new issue
- Proactive outreach — turn on to email affected customers automatically when an issue is resolved
What the AI agent gains
With Sentry connected, the AI agent can search Sentry issues and reference them when a customer reports a bug. It will say things like "I can see we are tracking a related issue, our team is on it" instead of pretending it does not know.
