What this does
When a customer asks "is your API down?", the AI agent can check your BetterStack monitors in real time and respond honestly. If there is an active incident, the agent acknowledges it without leaking internal monitor URLs.
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Team → Integrations → BetterStack
- Create an API token at uptime.betterstack.com → Settings → API tokens (read access to monitors and incidents is enough)
- Paste the token and click Connect
What the agent says
With BetterStack connected, the agent will say things like:
"I just checked and we are aware of an issue affecting login. Our team is investigating now and we will update the incident page as we learn more."
Without BetterStack, the agent has to either guess or escalate, which is slower and more frustrating for the customer.
