No native app yet. The web app works on mobile, though, and you can make it feel close to native.

The Web App on Mobile

cStar is fully responsive. Tickets, customers, XP tracking, boss battles -- it all works on your phone's browser. Touch targets are designed for tapping, not precision clicking.

Add to Home Screen

This gets you most of the way to a native experience:

iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Safari, go to cstar.help
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add

Android

  1. Open Chrome, go to cstar.help
  2. Tap the three-dot menu
  3. Tap Add to Home screen
  4. Tap Add

You get a home screen icon, full-screen mode (no browser chrome), and push notifications.

What to Expect

  • Everything works, but some features are more comfortable on bigger screens
  • You need an internet connection -- no offline mode
  • File attachments are limited to camera and photo library on mobile

Will There Be a Native App?

We're considering it. If demand is there, iOS and Android apps with offline support are on the table. For now, the home screen shortcut handles daily use well.
