Finding a ticket from three months ago shouldn't require an archaeological expedition.
Quick Search
Use the search/command bar to find tickets by title, content, customer name, or other fields. Results appear as you type.
Filtering
The tickets page has filters for narrowing results:
- Status -- open, closed, pending, etc.
- Priority -- critical, high, normal, low
- Assignee -- filter by who's handling the ticket
- Tags -- find tickets with specific tags
- Date range -- narrow by when tickets were created
Combine filters for precise results. Looking for high-priority tickets tagged "billing" from last month? Stack those filters.
Tips
- Use filters for broad searches ("all closed tickets this week")
- Use the search bar for specific lookups ("that ticket about the API error")
- Closed tickets are still searchable -- nothing disappears when you close a ticket
