What You Can Attach

Images: PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WebP Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX Archives: ZIP, RAR Other: TXT, CSV, JSON

Pretty much everything that isn't executable.

Size Limits

  • 25 MB per file
  • 50 MB total per message

If your file's bigger, compress it or use a link.

How Attachments Display

  • Images: Show inline in the conversation. No download needed.
  • PDFs: Preview available, click to download the full file.
  • Everything else: Click to download.

Managing Attachments

  • Hover over an attachment to see options
  • Click Download to save it locally
  • Click Delete to remove it (before you send the message)

Once sent, attachments are permanent. Choose wisely.

Pro Tips

  • Compress large files before uploading—nobody wants to wait
  • Use screenshots liberally. A picture beats 500 words of description
  • Don't attach sensitive data (passwords, credit cards) unless absolutely necessary

When in doubt, attach it. Context helps.
