Screenshots, docs, whatever helps solve the problem faster.
How to Attach Files
Drag and Drop: drag files from your desktop into the reply area.
Click to Upload: click the attachment button in the reply toolbar and select files.
Paste from Clipboard: take a screenshot (Cmd+Shift+4 on Mac, Win+Shift+S on Windows), click the reply area, and paste with Cmd+V or Ctrl+V.
Supported File Types
- Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP
- Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX
- Video: MP4, WebM, QuickTime
- Text: TXT, CSV, JSON
- Archives: ZIP
Executable files (.exe, .bat, .dll, .reg, etc.) are blocked for security. SVG uploads are also blocked because SVGs can carry executable scripts. Convert to PNG or WebP if you need to share an SVG-source image.
Size Limits
25 MB per file for tickets and messages. Up to 10 files per message.
(Note: community post attachments have a tighter 5 MB cap and accept images only, since they're public content. Tickets aren't subject to that.)
If your file is bigger than 25 MB, compress it or share via a link.
How They Display
Images show inline in the conversation. PDFs and other documents show as downloadable links. Videos play inline. Once a message is sent, its attachments are permanent.
