Canceling Your Subscription
We hope it doesn't come to this, but if you need to leave, we'll make it easy. No guilt trips. No dark patterns. No "talk to retention" hoops.
How to Cancel
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Manage Billing
- In the Stripe portal, click Cancel subscription
- Confirm your cancellation
That's it. No phone calls required.
What Happens After Cancellation
| Timeline | What Happens |
|---|---|
| Immediately | Subscription marked as canceled |
| Until period ends | You keep full access (you already paid for it) |
| After period ends | Account enters grace period |
| +30 days | Data scheduled for deletion |
You Keep Access Until Your Paid Period Ends
If you cancel on day 10 of your billing cycle, you still have access for the remaining 20 days. We don't do the thing where we cut you off instantly. That's rude.
The 30-Day Grace Period
After your access ends, your data stays safe for 30 more days. This gives you time to:
- Change your mind and resubscribe
- Export your data
- Wrap up any loose ends
During the grace period, you'll see the "Payment Required" modal when you log in. Just subscribe again to restore full access — all your data will still be there.
Exporting Your Data
Before or after canceling, you can export everything:
- Go to Settings → Billing (or use the export button in the Payment Required modal)
- Click Export My Data
- Download your JSON file with all tickets, customers, articles, and settings
We'll never hold your data hostage. It's yours.
Reactivating After Cancellation
Changed your mind? Just subscribe again:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Subscribe
- Complete checkout
If you're within the grace period, all your data will be exactly as you left it.
Before You Go
If something's not working for you, we'd genuinely love to hear about it. Not to talk you out of leaving — but because we might be able to fix it. Reach out anytime.
