Who Can Do This
Only team Owners (The Guildmaster) can manage billing. If you are an Agent, Admin, Manager, or any other role, you will need to ask your Owner to handle payment.
How to Subscribe
From the Trial Banner
During your trial, click the "Add payment" link in the banner at the top of the screen. You will be taken to Stripe Checkout.
From Settings
- Open Settings (gear icon in the sidebar)
- Go to the Billing section
- Click Add Payment Method (or Subscribe Now if the trial has ended)
- Complete checkout on Stripe
What Happens at Checkout
Stripe Checkout handles everything:
- Real-time card validation
- PCI-compliant security -- cStar never sees your card number
- Support for credit cards, debit cards, and some regional payment methods
After checkout, you return to cStar with your subscription active.
When You Are Charged

What You Pay
Monthly cost = $15 multiplied by your paid seat count.
Every role counts as a seat. The first 3 Spectator seats are free -- beyond that, Spectators are billed at the normal rate. Customers are never billed as seats.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Most major debit cards
- Regional methods where Stripe supports them
We use Stripe because they are the best in the business. Your payment information is stored securely with them, not with us.
Troubleshooting
Card declined? Check your card number and expiration date, make sure you have sufficient funds, or try a different card.
Checkout page not loading? Temporarily disable ad blockers or try a different browser.
