Adding a Payment Method
Ready to subscribe? It takes about 42 seconds.
Who Can Add Payment
Only team owners can manage billing. If you're an admin or agent, you'll need to ask your team owner to set up payment.
How to Subscribe
From the Trial Banner
- Click Add payment in the trial banner at the top of your screen
- You'll be taken to Stripe Checkout
- Enter your card details
- Done — you're subscribed
From Settings
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the sidebar)
- Click the Billing tab
- Click Subscribe
- Complete checkout on Stripe
What Happens at Checkout
Stripe Checkout handles everything:
- Card validation — Real-time verification
- Security — PCI-compliant, we never see your card number
- Multiple payment methods — Credit cards, debit cards, some regional options
After checkout, you're redirected back to cStar with your subscription active.
When You'll Be Charged

If you add payment during your trial, you won't be charged until day 15. We're not trying to trick you into early billing.
What You'll Pay
Your monthly cost = $15 × number of team members
This includes everyone: owners, admins, and agents. Customers don't count as seats.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Most major debit cards
- Regional methods where Stripe supports them
We use Stripe because they're the best in the business. Your payment info is stored securely with them, not with us.
Troubleshooting
Card declined?
- Check your card number and expiration date
- Ensure you have sufficient funds
- Try a different card
Checkout page not loading?
- Disable ad blockers temporarily
- Try a different browser
- Check your internet connection
